There course was beauitful the trees are all in color what a good time my husband and I had I think It was wrong thiu to charge me just to ride along on a golf cart 10 dollars . That was the first time anyone ever charged me just to ride along. A city golf course to I am a tax payer of Toledo should not got charged. |

Open year round, with LOTS of play Ottawa Park is one of the best golf values in Northwest Ohio. While the clubhouse has basic amenities, the course is always in pretty good shape, especially for the traffic it receives. Expect it to be busy, regardless of the day of the week or time of the year. |

Op as we call it, is the classic little "muni" course, short, but challenging to players of all handicaps, great course to learn the game on, requiring you to work the ball around trees, up and down hills, and small greens. Designed by SP Jermain "the father of public golf" in 1899, then held the first US Am Publinx Championship in 1922. An exhibition match in 1929 featured Horton Smith and Walter Hagen, who played the 18th as one of the most famous par 3 holes in America, 230 yards over the Ten Mile creek. OP is now managed by AGC and maintained in good condition, a pleasure to play. |

The great "OP" as we call it. Not long on length but very long on character. This classic (first nine opened in 1899 by SP Jermain) little "muni" is a challenge to play and score on. at only 5400+ yards. the best amateurs in the city can barely break par in the annual SP Jermain tournament. In 1922, SP brought the first US Publix Amateur tournament to the Toledo Golf Club , as it was known as then. Get an early tee time, and walk this golf course, an awesome place to play golf!! |

Okay this is a pretty course but I can't let all of you mislead people in to thinking it is a 5 star course. Pebble Beach (are you kidding me)? This is a nice course that is very busy on the weekends and plays way too slow. It is pretty and challenging but most people can't hit their drivers off the tee because many of the holes are fairly short. I would only recommend playing this one during the week. |

Ottawa is a truly sporting course with memories on every hole. The spirits of Al Croci, Denny and Doug Spencer, Joe Greenberg, Tom Lewandowski and Ace the Wonder dog echo in every woods. |

Hey Ed Cassidy, I found your clubs in the pond on number four the other day. You want them back? I don't see why you would. I hope you golf better now than you did in High School. Great course by the way. |

This is a great course. The atmosphere is similar to courses down south, expecially on a warm day. It will be a long day if you don't get the right tee time, but it's hit or miss. Practice up on our chipping because you will need it on this rather short corse |

Excellent city course. Best in Toledo. However, you'd better be careful on No. 4...this hole will make you throw your clubs in the water and leave the course. |

This is one of my favorite courses in town. I haven't played it in 2 years because they pack them in like sardines and it makes for a long day. |

I have played ottawa for 28 yrs. Do not let the yardage fool you.It still is a true test of golf.If I had to pick a course to play in the NW OHIO area it would be OTTAWA PARK. |

I have been playing this course since I was in high school, now for 25 yrs. Although it is not a long course it demands straight ball. Improvements and better maintenance over the yrs. make it a challenging course with nice elevation changes. |
