Unk, Black share medalist as 18 players advance to U.S. Senior Open Final Qualifying
04/27/2026

18 players advanced through U.S. Senior Open Local Qualifying on Monday at Worthington Hills Country Club.

Difficult, windy conditions made it a challenge for competitors to go low on Worthington Hills' tricky layout.

Lancaster's Chris Black and Lewis Center's Brian Unk shared medalist honors with even-par rounds of 71.

Rik Cramer and RJ Foltz both shot one-over 72 to finish a tie for third, a stroke behind the medalists.

Ohio Golf Hall of Famer and Champions Tour winner Rod Spittle was a part of a group of those who carded 74 to advance.

Five players who shot 75 rounded out those who advanced to Final Qualifying: including Paul Hollenbaugh, Barry Hinckley, amateur Bradley Paskievitch, Sam Arnold, and two-time PGA TOUR winner Frank Lickliter II.

Thank you to Worthington Hills Country Club for hosting today's qualifier!
