06/24/2026

James Volpenhein of Cincinnati won his third consecutive Ohio Senior Amateur Championship title in a playoff over Robert F. Gerwin II and Greg Keyes at Miami View Golf Club.

Volpenhein is the first player to win the Ohio Senior Amateur Championship three times in a row. He is also the first to win three consecutive Ohio Golf Association championships since 2000 (Chuck Smith, Ohio Senior Classic).

In the Super Senior division, Hudson's Mike Cassell was victorious with rounds of 73-72-74. Canton's Nick Lambos, who held the lead after the opening round, finished two strokes behind Cassell.
