White breaks Ohio Mid-Amateur Championship scoring record in eight stroke win

Peyton White's 54-hole total of 199 (-17) broke the Ohio Mid-Amateur Championship scoring record.

White made 18 birdies and an eagle on his way to an eight stroke victory at Shawnee Country Club.

The runner-up was Dublin's Jeg Coughlin III (-9), who had an impressive effort in the defense of his title.
