Tuesday’s action has wrapped up from the 2025 Ohio Junior Championship at Ashland Golf Club.
On the overall leaderboard, Liam Curtis (-6) of Kent leads 14-year-old Zac McGrath (-4) by two shots heading into the final 18 holes.
After a 68 on Monday, Curtis registered another under-par round of 70 to give himself the solo lead at Ashland Golf Club.
“This is a tournament I look forward to every year... it has a lot of the best juniors in the state so it would be really nice (to win).” Curtis said.
Liam will look to join his father, Ben, who won a pair of Ohio Amateur Championships, on the list of Ohio Golf Association Championship winners.
After McGrath at -4, you have to go back to -1 to find three players, CJ Scohy, Elijah Stewart, and Brody Hayes in a tie for 3rd.
Eight players are in a tie for 6th at even-par. If Curtis and McGrath come back to the field a bit on Wednesday, it could be anyone's game.

In the 15 & Under division, Zac McGrath (-4) leads by three strokes over Elijah Stewart (-1).
McGrath, who will be a freshman this fall at St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, has made just two bogeys through his first 36 holes. One of them happened to be on his very first hole of the tournament.
Elite ball-striking has carried McGrath most of the way through 36 holes. His only bogey during the second round resulted from a three-putt on the difficult par-4 7th hole.
Despite the 3-putt, the 14-year-old McGrath was quick to credit a Bob Rotella book that has helped him improve his overall putting this week. “Everything that he explained just made putting seem so simple,” McGrath pointed out. “(Putting) is really what it comes down to for me.”
McGrath will try to keep it simple for a third day, which he noted has given him trouble in the past. “I’ve been in this situation before where I played well the first two days and didn't play my best the last day, so I’m just going to try and do the same thing I did the first two days and not overcomplicate anything,” McGrath said.
Only two players in Championship history, Finley Bartlett (2022) and Smith Brinker (2008) have won the overall Ohio Junior title and 15 & under division in the same year.
