Michele Redman, from Zanesville, won twice on the LPGA Tour and competed on Solheim Cup teams for the United States. She also proved herself in the collegiate ranks as both a player and coach.

Redman won the Big Ten Individual Title as a member of the Indiana University golf team. As a coach, Redman's team at the University of Minnesota broke many school team and individual records.
